Where are your feet? Are you ready to take that next step and work with me as your coach?

Where my feet are now and my author coach announcement go hand in hand.

For the past few months I have been readying my author coaching program, and bringing one of my dreams to life.

I started coaching authors back in 1990. But, truth be told, I have been doing it all my life.

I have always written and have found it a natural expression of myself. I began helping friends with papers and college applications as a high school student. Along the way, I discovered my passion to be a fiction coach. I have since had opportunities to teach creative writing and have coached screenwriters, as well.

One screenwriter and I had a long talk about why he wasn’t finding the talent he needed in auditions for his latest project. We sat down together and he uncovered, through coaching, that the performance he was looking for wasn’t developed enough in the story. He rewrote, and then the cast fell into place.

After years of doing this work through personal referrals, I am excited to finally open my author coaching program to the public and bring all of these experiences together to help bring your stories to life!

I have spots open for a few writers to work one-on-one with me. While I have no ability to predict the publishing world’s reception, I can promise that with hard work and dedication, you will write something you will be proud of. I have coached men and women who have never written and I have coached published authors.

A good story is a good story, whether it is your first or your fiftieth.

So where are my feet?

They are under my desk while I write. They are in yoga class. They are in the car driving my daughter to school. They are right here right now. No time like the present to begin. All it takes is one step.

If this feels like the right next step for you, apply now to work with me.
