Now the kids are going to go off and have fun without us and we are going to go off and have fun without them–but I don’t want to!!! I will miss them every minute but I have to be a strong mom and let them go and believe that they can live a life separate from us. All I want to do is hold everyone tight and never let go—that’s being a mom—but I know it is important to do these things that allow us all our independence—my job is to raise people to have happy productive interesting interested lives…not to raise people who never leave my side!!!
