Tonight I am in a hotel in Santa Monica. Mom is across the hall and in a few minutes we will have a bite to eat. Tomorrow I get my new expander in and add some to each side. To look more like my old self prior to my final surgery. When that will be is anyone’s guess.
To anyone who thinks this reconstruction thing is a slam dunk…well for a lot of women it is…but for many it is not. If they told me that at the beginning it would have depressed me. If I had been told that it would be two years in the making I might have jumped off…well no that isn’t my way.
It will be nice to have fairly equal breasts in my bathing suits again. The way it is now the tops really shift to one side due to the lack of anything keeping it from moving. No one notices as I have become quite skilled at dressing around it. I know what to wear and how to wear it. I can’t wait to not have to wrry anymore.
I can’t wait to get back to working out with Greg again too. We had a great trip around the west and a visit to the ranch and now I get to recover from the morrow…
