Susan Komen is certainly well known and has events and products supporting her efforts around the country, but here are some smaller groups that also do great things.
Get in Touch Foundation—educating girls grades 5-12 to do breast self exam in a positive way.
Breast Cancer Fund–they are supporting research into the environmental causes of breast cancer
breastcancer.org–they run a website with tons of info and lots of discussion groups for people at every stage with every kind of question
Livestrong–need I say more?
Stand up 2 cancer—which works to connect scientists and doctors and researchers across the country to find new treatments without competition.
