I still lie in the dark and wish it had all never happened—mostly this comes up when it is late and I am uncomfortable sleeping on my side and I feel sorry for myself–usually only lasts a few minutes as I don’t indulge in the pity party too often–that would get old!!!
but there are times when I wish my life was still innocent and I was just a mom in love with her husband and never afraid of anything–always somewhere it lies hidden–the idea that it could all change in an instant with a doctor’s words–once you have had that happen you are forever changed and life is forever the greatest gift you have been given–especially life with people you love and adore–I certainly have that in spades!
