Made my decision —Starting with #Fallon by Louis L’Amour

with 2 Comments

Interestingly I haven’t read Fallon yet. It is an earlier work and if I had a copy of every book on my shelf right now I might have started in order of publication. But here we are–I am on my way out of town and grabbed Fallon –published in 1963, February, a year before I was born. The cover on this copy is from 1981and is the books 16th printing–have no idea how many printings have been done of this one since. The cover is a gambler at a table with an ace showing and a gun. We shall see…
Can’t wait but I am saving it for the plane ride!

The book is available here:

Hi, Angelique. Hope you are doing well! I recently re-read about a dozen of your dad's books and, of those, "Kilkenny" and "To Tame A Land" are personal favorites. "Fallon" is also a favorite, as are "Flint", all of the Sackett novels, "Comstock Lode", "Borden Chantry" — and SO many others! My overall favorite, though, is his own story — "Education of a Wandering Man".

    Have a great 2016,

    Steve Ferguson

Great book. Be forewarned, it has little to do with the host of the Tonight Show.
