Questions about Characters? Watch My Live Q&A Video

with No Comments

Character Challenge Week is coming to an end today.

It has been exciting to see so many of you actively engaged in developing your characters, and your responses to the 5-minute daily challenges across these past 5 days.

If you didn’t join for this first week, don’t worry. You can sign up at anytime and hold your own 5-day Character Challenge here

In fact, it’s a great opportunity to enlist a few writing buddies to make a leap in your characters’ stories together and serve as accountability and motivation for one another to get the most out of it!

In the middle of Challenge Week, I held my very first Facebook Live to answer your burning character questions live. Missed it? You can check out the recording!

Character Questions? Check Out the Live Q&A Recording!

In the recording, you can learn:

  • How to flesh out your character’s desire and drive to carry your story forward
  • How to source powerful and intriguing character names, and why Helen Gale as a character name might be perfect for your comedy, or terribly obvious
  • Examples of how to apply my 25 questions framework to add depth to your characters before you ever start writing the story
  • And much more!

As you move forward with your writing know that I, too, am working on one of my characters using the 25 questions and the other methods I gave you in the challenge.

Working with inspired authors like you always gives me fresh excitement for my own writing and I can’t wait to work on my current mystery novel more.

Enjoy your weekend and create those memorable characters!
