Okay so here I am tapering off of ativan. Ativan allowed me to sleep through the night with no nausea–so why does it create a tiny bit of nausea as you wean off of it? Maybe because you no longer sleep—exhaustion can lead to nausea too, right? So why would any normal person choose to stop taking it? Because on it I slept well and before it I slept well so after it I should sleep well. Now I just want the weaning period to be over…now! but I have no patience really with such things…So I am doing this during spring break as it means I don’t have to get up early this week. I can, sort of, laze around in bed for a bit while the house wakes—now off to make breakfast and then exercise so this crap will leave my body faster…
